There will be a break, to share your drawings and pop to the bar, at around 8pm.
Please arrive from 6.45pm to get settled, and grab a drink, so that we can start drawing at 7pm.
Basic drawing materials are available, but we do recommend that you bring your own paper/sketchbook, if you can.

Together We Make welcomes all forms of sharing your current practice. From bringing along/performing your latest WIP or finished piece to simply talking through ideas and thoughts with us all. Come as you are, whatever point in the process of creation you are within right now. From fertile abundance to blockages and stagnancy, we aim for this space to uplift and inspire you. You are also invited to simply be apart of the conversation without sharing yourself, giving feedback and support to others.

Open to creatives from across the spectrum working within all medias & avenues of production, you're welcome here! Diversity is our strength, this is an opportunity to cross-pollinate one another as we exchange knowledge and advice that we may otherwise not have access to.

A screening of Mars Attacks! Directed by Tim Burton. Film synopsis: A fleet of Martian spacecraft surrounds the world's major cities and all of humanity waits to see if the extraterrestrial visitors have, as they claim, "come in peace." U.S. President James Dale (Jack Nicholson) receives assurance from science professor Donald Kessler (Pierce Brosnan) that the Martians' mission is a friendly one. But when a peaceful exchange ends in the total annihilation of the U.S. Congress, military men call for a full-scale nuclear retaliation.

Come and enjoy a fun evening of sticking and pasting with a purpose,
FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY!! As part of the Mother Mars exhibition at KIT FORM, we’re hosting an evening of collage and connection.

Surrounded by incredible artworks exploring the complexities of Mars, Earth, and space travel, you’ll be guided in creating a symbolic collage that celebrates you. Think of Earth and Mars as an analogy - this is a chance to reflect on who you are, where you’ve been, and where you’re heading. You’ll make a beautiful, meaningful piece of art to take home, alongside some beautiful people and memories.

MOTHER MARS: Mars Attacks!

On 30th July 2024, rioting broke out across the UK. Gangs of the disenfranchised white working classes, focussed their anger, and attacked hotels housing asylum seekers. Up and down the country, for 5 nights, these became the front lines between growing right wing populism and the anti-racist left.

One year on, we investigate this trend. Whilst it's political expression, Reform, sees gains nationwide, so too does ever more extreme rhetoric become ingrained in large parts of society. Rhetoric that makes repeats of last year's events ever more likely.

We ask, what can we do to stem this tide? What links are there between the broken promises of failing neoliberalism and the growth in right wing politics and sentiment? And should the anti imperialist, Palestine solidarity movement be a central part of domestic anti-racist actions?
